This popular varietal is medium dark red in colour and has ripe fruity aromas of plum with notes of dark red cherries. On the palate there are expressions of black cherry and stewed plums with hints of chocolate and mocha. Soft with velvety tannins, this elegant wine finishes with a smooth lingering flavour of black cherries.
